| Gas Detection Rack System |
The rack mounting gas detection system allows monitoring of up to 6 or 12 separate locations per rack for the presence of gas. Each channel gives a visual indication of the level of gas detected and has 3 independent volt-free change-over contacts for fault, pre-alarm and main alarm states. In addition, the service card has a further alarm relay which drops out
when any of the channel cards go into main alarm state.
The pre-alarm and main alarm threshold settings are adjustable (2% to 20% LEL) on each of the channel cards. The relay on the service card can either be self-resetting or manual reset, selectable by means of
a front-panel switch.
When an alarm condition has occurred, an indicator remains lit on the channel card that detected the alarm which must be manually cleared.
The sensors are all factory calibrated and require no on-site calibration or complex commissioning.
