ITT Acquires International Motion Control Inc.
Patrick Lee, chairman and CEO of International Motion Control, (IMC) of Buffalo, New York announced today that a purchase agreement has been signed with the ITT Corporation, a $7.8B NYSE company.
IMC will become part of ITT’s Motion & Flow Control Division.
Nick Hill, president of the Motion & Flow Control Division said “we are delighted in this opportunity to acquire a global motion control business that is synergistic and complimentary to ITT’s products. ENIDINE, the market leader in energy absorption will become a cornerstone of our division.”
Mr. Lee stated that ITT will be able to add opportunities to IMC and its associates and especially ENIDINE located in Orchard Park, New York.
With its corporate headquarters located in Buffalo, New York, IMC is divided into four operating groups which include; Automation, Controls, Energy Absorption and Distribution.
Each of these groups offers a complete array of complimentary hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic products to meet today’s motion control global requirements.
IMC’s manufacturing facilities are located throughout the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Korea and China as well as an extensive global distribution network.IMC has 1,000+ employees worldwide with 360 located in Western New York.

International Motion Control Inc. Acquires Landon Kingsway Division of Concentric Controls
Buffalo, NY - International Motion Control today announced its purchase of the Landon Kingsway division of Concentric Controls. The Landon Kingsway product range is to be sold within the Automation group of IMC, providing a wide variety of innovative technological solutions in the Fire Prevention, Safety and Energy Management Markets.
Purchase of Landon Kingsway marks the second in a series of divisions purchased from Concentric Controls, expanding the Automation Groups commitment to offering the most advanced technological safety application solutions available in today's global market. Established for over 60 years, the extensive Landon Kingsway range is recognized in providing quality products and systems in safety equipment including, fire protection, gas detection, hydrostatic and capacitance level equipment, metering products and ancillaries.
Of this most recent product acquisition, IMC Automation Group President, Christopher J. Lee, notes, "IMC's acquisition of Landon Kingsway will continue to enhance the Automation Group's product portfolio allowing penetration into key market segments as well as offering this predominantly United Kingdom focused business to be distributed throughout a much larger, global distribution network."
