Lever Operated Valve BS5410 (Thermal Trigger)

The Lever operated valve to BS5410 (thermal trigger) is intended for the automatic and manual isolation of liquid fuel supplies to oil fired boilers and generator installations, in accordance with the safety and fire protection requirements of BS 5410 (Code of practice for liquid fuel firing)

Lever fire valves provide a compact, leak-proof positive action mechanism that can be installed in either horizontal or vertical fuel pipe runs. They are held open by a tensioned stainless cable. The stainless cable is joined in the area of the boiler by a Fusible Link, this link melts in the event of a fire, the valve closes isolating the fuel. Optional position feedback volt free switch available.

Lever Fire Valves can be operated manual or electronically with the addition of actuation switches fitted in the control cable.
