Fusible Links – Temperature-Activated Fusible Links for Fire Protection & HVAC Safety Systems
Fusible Links- Temperature-Activated fusible links for Fire Protection, HVAC Systems, fire valves, fire valves, fire dampers, hot air balloons, ducting, ventilation, cassette systems, and chain and link applications. These links are manufactured from formed brass and soldered using eutectic alloy, links can be fitted with brass “S” hooks for ease of installation within a fire protection system.
Fusible links are temperature-sensitive release devices designed for use within a wide range of fire protection applications. The link operates when the surrounding temperature rises to the point at which the eutectic alloy melts, releasing the pre-loaded fire damper, door, shutter, or other mechanism. This action helps to restrict the spread of fire and smoke or activate the release of pressurised gas or liquid fire suppression media.
The alloy melting point can be engineered to provide release temperatures ranging from 72°C (162°F) up to 183°C (361°C).
Common temperature rating:
72°C, 95°C, 104°C, 128°C, 130°, 133°C, 145°C, 183°C
Alternative temperature ratings are available on request.
